Brake cleaner
Brake cleaner is a fast-evaporating solvent that removes brake dust, oil and grease from brake parts, fittings, tools and metal surfaces with little residue. It's also handy for cleaning hydraulic fittings and threads before assembly. Some solvents can affect rubber, paint and plastics, so check the label and test on a small area first. Always use it in a well-ventilated area.
Degreasers and truck wash
Degreasers break down oil and grime on engine bays, hydraulic components, machinery and workshop floors. Choose a solvent degreaser for heavy oil build-up, or a water-based one for general cleaning and washdowns. Truck wash suits regular cleaning of trucks, utes and plant, and rinses off without stripping protective coatings.
Maintenance sprays
Water-dispersing sprays help free seized bolts, push moisture out of electrical connections and protect bare metal from rust. Carby cleaner clears varnish from carburettors and throttle bodies on small engines.
