Hand cleaner

Heavy-duty hand cleaners with grit or beads lift grease, hydraulic oil, diesel and grime without water, while citrus and gel cleaners are gentler for frequent use. Keep a tub in the workshop and a smaller one in the ute so you can clean up on site.

Workshop rags

Absorbent rags are good for wiping down fittings before assembly, cleaning up oil drips and checking dipsticks. Lint-free rags are the better choice around hydraulic systems, because loose fibres can contaminate fluid.

Keeping it clean around hydraulics

Contamination is one of the most common causes of hydraulic wear. Clean fittings and ports before you open a system, cap open hoses, and wipe up spills straight away. Pair these consumables with brake cleaner and degreasers and our spill control and waste oil range.
